Poconos Mountains Regional Airport
Pocono Mountains Regional Airport is a public general-aviation field two miles northwest of Mount Pocono in Monroe County, Pennsylvania, owned by the regional airport authority. Set on 275 acres at an elevation of 1,915 feet, it has two asphalt runways — the longer stretching just over 5,000 feet — serving single- and multi-engine planes, jets, helicopters, and military traffic, with more than 40 aircraft based on the field. As the Poconos' gateway by air, it puts the region's resorts, lakes, and ski slopes within reach.
